Wedding Photography $895 Albums and Prints
Angie and Chase's weddings pictures made at Cody Creek Chapel in Dobson, NC. The chapel sets over a creek and was framed in the fall colors. The chapel building is rustic with old wide pine boards and stone work. Angie pictures were first with her getting ready in the Old Depot building. Chase's pictures were made outside with the fall colors in the background. With the bright sun giving Angie and her girls a beautiful rim light I shot a few of them walking up the chapel steps. During the ceremony I used a star filter to get a interesting light pattern coming from the chandelier. With the unity candle lighting I used the same filter for a stare effect on the unity candle. For the group photos I moved the group outside to use the fall colors as a background. Finishing up with the group photos I asked Angie and Chase to move over to the old covered bridge. This made use the leading lines in the bridge structure to draw attention to the bride and groom. As a afterthought I used the bouquet in the foreground focusing on it and letting the bride and groom go out of focus. This turned out nicely as the chapel building was in the distant background giving the image a "painted look". To cover myself in case the bride didn't like this effect I reshot it with the bride and groom in focus.
