Wedding Photography $1,095 Albums and Prints
Erica and Blake's wedding photography was a special occasion for me. I photographed Blake's mother's wedding when I still was shooting weddings part time. In 1983 I think. But the amazing thing is that in 1985 I photographed Erica's mothers' wedding. Wow that really makes a person feel old. The wedding was in the same church in Midway NC that her mom was married in. Now the church has a fellowship hall with large windows. Super for back lighting which I enjoy using. Some shots of Blake getting ready and some shots of Blake with his mom. Erica was almost finished getting ready. I asked the group to move over to the window for pictures. The shots of Erica and her mom were very real. I use a long lens which lets me get a good distance from the subjects allowing for some privacy and giving me some candid shots. The use of a star filter on the unity candle gives a nice effect. Wedding reception photos were made at the Sapona Country Club in Lexington NC. The pictures of the bride dancing with her dad show he hasn't changed any. The picture of the group dancing with the bride in the middle shows the off camera light in the upper left corner.
