Wedding Photography $1,095 Albums and Prints
Jennifer and Steven's weddings photos made at First Baptist Church in Winston Saelm NC and the wedding reception photography at 823 Reynolda in Winston Salem, NC. Jennifer asked for black and white with color for a couple of shots. With the bright red bouquet I did this one of the 3/4 shot. The weather was raining and very little window light. The shots of Steven by the window, I had to shoot at least 10 exposures per pose on account of subject movement due to low light. The use of a mirror in wedding pictures is sometimes over done. The purpose is to frame the person face. You don't always find good looking mirrors was in this case I did. The photography time line was running a little ahead so I did this shot of just the bride's eye in the makeup mirror. The elements of this image is the enhanced by the out of focus ear and side face. While I was in the bride's dressing room. Someone brought the groom's gift to Jennifer. I was using a long lens which keep me about 15 feet from the bride giving her privacy and showing the camera real emotion. The wedding reception was at 823 Reynolda, an old building with exposed brick walls. Part of the ceiling was painted black with small twinkly light attacked. One wall had a stair case that was just there with no purpose. Some of the walls were fo painted, and the effect was super. As a sample of backlighting compare the cake feeding shots with the dance shots. The back lighting gives the image sparkle that not there without it. The long shot of the bride and groom was taken from the stair case that when nowhere.
