Wedding Photography $895 Albums and Prints
Karen and Josh's wedding photos were made in Clemons NC, the wedding engagement photography at Old Salem in Winston Salem NC. The couples' engagement sitting was in Old Salem, in Winston Salem, NC. I like shooting outside when the sun is low and I can get a rim light on the subjects. With the first set of images you can see a bright patch of sunlight on Karen's shoulder. This light was bounced onto Josh's front shoulder making a glow between the two. At Old Salem there are many architectural elements that add to the images. The shots with a doorway behind them act as a frame drawing the viewer's eyes to them. The next shots of just the head and shoulders I experimented selective focus . The first one of this set the lens is focus on the engagement ring and her face go out of focus. There is a series of images with flowers in the lower part of the frame. This looks good but is outstanding when the flower color in similar to the clothing colors.
